Wyckoff Information

Hi everyone! My family and I are looking into move to Wyckoff and looking for any and all information y’all are willing to share. We like the downtown area and it’s super close to Ridgewood where my wife and her family grew up. In case it matters, we have two boys under 3 years old and a medium sized dog.

The school system shared with multiple towns is something I’ve heard about but what was peculiar to me was two high schools that you can pick between. Any info on this would be great.

If anyone also has demographics for the schools, that would be great too. From our research, the general demographic is predominantly white (like 80%) but with schools being shared between the towns, I’d like an idea as to what my kid’s school environment would be like as we are all for diversity.

The commute into midtown NYC from Wyckoff looks ridiculous to me. It seems like it would be significantly better to drive to Ridgewood or neighboring train stations.

Appreciate everyone’s thoughts as we seek honest feedback about making Wyckoff our future home for the next several decades.
