C86’d DIY Vol. 14 update: Ostraca return to NYC tomorrow (Saturday) & we are so happy to add our dear friends & NYC’s darlings that put the twee in hardcore Cash Only Tonys to open up this show 💜🖤💜 This is (we think) the last xc86dx show of 2025 so please come out and throw down with all our friends 🔥 —————— On Saturday November 22nd Ostraca will be making their way back up the East Coast to spend a special evening with us at u/trans.pecos ! Ostraca’s southern vein of blackened screamo has been a constant in the chaotic hardcore scene for the past decade and truly one of our favorite bands. The power and fury delivered by this three piece is hard to match and every time we seen them we leave the show blown away. Earlier this year they released “Eventualities” on u/PersistentVision Records – one of the best records of 2025. Joining them will be some of our friends from NY & NJ: Grimlitter has been blowing minds in NYC for the past two years with their unique take on screamo channeling familiar sounds of indie rock and shoegaze while constantly bringing the chaos. Stress Spells tight and technical skramz is the pride of New Jersey and so excited that they are making the journey over the bridges and tunnels again to join us. Last but not least we are happy to welcome Forever the new band from members of Massa Nera & Swan of Tuonela. This will be the NYC based trios second show!
