I have literally had to burn through nearly $100 on Lyft the past week due to parts of the MTA being constantly shut down for “track replacements”. This has gotten so bad on the past couple years and it seems like every time I try to get home after a night out, I can’t take the subway back because the station is closed or it takes forever to arrive. People have social lives, they work night shifts, this is so infuriating and inconvenient that the subway is always shut down. submitted by /u/IceCreamMeatballs to r/nyc |
