Looking for a third person to resign this lease with me (28yo she/they, been living in this apt for a year) and a German 24yo moving to NY to do his masters. The room is the first one you see in the video. It fits a full + desk + dresser. There’s an option to keep the bed and dresser currently in the room but can also come unfurnished. The rest of the apt is furnished, kitchen is full of appliances (including dishwasher), etc – I’ll put some pics in the comments. Its a 4th floor walk up and we have access to the roof via the fire escape. The building is less than 5 mins from the L and M lines at Myrtle Wyckoff + lots of other bus routes. There’s no laundry in the building but there’s an affordable laundromat 2 doors away. There’s also a huge food bazaar 5 mins away. Utilities usually come out to $80pp/month. There’s central heat and ceiling fans but no central air. For transparency, the full lease is $3150, the other rooms are $1200 and $1100. The two people you’d be living with are very clean (no shoes in the apt, don’t leave dishes out, wipe things down if we’ve made a mess) so please only reach out if you’re also used to cleaning up and helping with bigger chores. We’re vegan and vegetarian and would like to keep the kitchen meat-free – please include in your reply whether you’re comfortable with this. We’re leftist, anti-racism, and anti-genocide, and would like to live with someone with similar values. We’re not social butterflies but want everyone to feel comfortable having friends over and not feel confined to their rooms. 420 (and almost everything else) friendly, but we don’t smoke up the apt. The lease renews on Aug 1, and the property manager would like applications reviewed by the end of June.
