RHS remembers Marine Corps 1st Lt. Charles William “Bill” Schlenz, who died on this day in 1945 – not long after Japan’s surrender — when he was involved in a mid-air collision off the coast of Oahu during a routine flight. A Wyckoff resident, he graduated from RHS in 1942.
