Moving to Brooklyn. Worried about the lower class touching the same sidewalk as me.

My original postfiancé and I are buying, yes buying, our first place. After months of piling up our money and taking money baths in our clawfoot tub for funsies, we’ve decided on
Boreum Hill where the median income is $189k. Our only hesitation is that people who didn’t buy homes are there ???? There’s public housing near Wyckoff and I don’t get it? I paid $6 million for my brownstone so why can’t they?? It’s not even renters, it’s public housing. You know- people who work ?? People who possibly have to be there because I continue to contribute to the over gentrification and displacement of downtown Brooklyn?? I did a quick Google search via Siri while I was in line at Starbies and found out they’re “Projects” – you know, like in “The Wire”.

Anyways, I’m looking for answers from other gentrifiers only. Is it safe? Like can I walk there or will I have to encounter poor people? Please let me know if you’re going to send your kids to St. Anns, too, because PSlope public is looking crusty for our unborn, not yet conceived, made up babies. Thanks!
