I lost my beloved hairpin on my commute this morning. I took the L from myrtle wyckoff to union square. I believe it fell out of my hair on the L. If anyone has found it and can return it to me I will reward you!! This is a very sentimental thing. I submitted a form to MTA lost and found as well.
