Is ICT’s PO3/Turtle Soup based on Wyckoff method/cycles?

ive been using ICT for 2.5 years and i am not asking this to change strats but just out of curiosity. from the start, ICT has told us that his methods are not wyckoff/elliot wave in his many rants on his videos but is it really true? i looked up wyckoff method/cycles and it is eerily similar to PO3 or turtle soup (ICT’s accumulation, manipulation and distribution vs Wyckoff accumulation, markup, distribution and markdown.)

since wyckoff method was created about a 100 years ago, is it possible that ICT repackaged and added some stuff based off of the existing Wyckoff method?

im definitely thankful for all of ICT teachings, however, i feel that what he claims sometimes might not be true. And it is really frustrating when he goes on all these rants trying to prove that he is right. i remember spending weeks to watch the 2022 mentorship and half of the video lengths are rants lol. i am long past the learning phase for ICT concepts and i havent watch his videos for almost a year so i cant say whether his videos have changed. What i can say is that i feel sorry for those who are still learning from ICT and having to endure all of his rants to prove a point when it might not even be true in the first place. i wish he can practice more transparency especially with his actual profits from trading, challenges he took up (i heard he failed the robbins cup mutiple times) and where his trading analysis was derived from.
