I wish i could experience Monogon Motorway for the first time again

Honestly saying, Monogon Motorway is (in my opinion) the best level in the game.
And i’m gonna tell you why right now.

First of all, this level starts after completing the most annoying level in the game (for most people, at least), also known as Moonbase – the feeling of finally understanding that “oh, I had to go to that goofy hidden base so I can complete that annoying level” gets immediately replaced by “okay, why am I an anime girl?”, which also gives you the “this level will be probably even more annoying than Moonbase” thoughts

And then you leave the building you spawn in.

And you see it. The beauty of level 10 – Colourful, positive looking visuals, the crowd cheering, and the go-kart waiting for you to jump in. You jump in, cross the finish line, and then the beautiful OST starts playing. While the first 30 seconds of the song are mid, the rest is just perfect. Michael Wyckoff really put a lot of work into making one of the catchiest song in the game.

Just simply riding the go-kart makes you feel something different, that you can’t feel on the other levels (and no, I don’t mean motion sickness by that sentence). It’s an amazing experience, and while the driving mechanics aren’t that good, you can still have fun riding it. And the song makes it feel like such an amazing experience. I love this level so much, and I wish i could experience it again for the first time.
