I built a free tool to see shootings, polluted sites, building complaints and more in NYC

Took some inspirations from friends and built BlocEasy to understand neighborhood safety, building issues and commute when looking for a new place. Specifically, you can find the following (all from verifiable source like NYC Open Data, EPA, NY state):

1. Registered sex offenders
2. Shooting incidents
3. Homicide incidents
4. Superfund sites (fancy way to say heavily polluted locations if you haven’t heard of it)
5. Building complaints
6. Weekly commute time
