How would you travel from Myrtle-Wyckoff to Flatbush Ave-Brooklyn College?

I recently moved to Bushwick, but I work and study at Brooklyn College. Unfortunately this is not a route served with anything resembling a direct transit, and there seem to be quite a few options with similar travel times.

  1. Take L to Livonia, transfer to 3/4, and then 2/5 at Franklin.

  2. L to union square, transfer to 4/5 and then 2 at Franklin ave if on 4.

  3. M to J and then 2/5 at Fulton

After doing some experimenting with which route, it seems like #1 is consistently the quickest, but the out of system transfer at Livonia is a little inconvenient because I have to carry an instrument with me the whole way. They really need to build a more convenient transfer here because it’s currently a ton of stairs and of course its not the safest neighborhood to be transferring outside late at night.

Which of these routes would you reccomend to me? Or maybe you have another option yoi could suggest. My values for determining the best route include lower travels times, less transfering, less walking/stairs, and being as convenientas possible late nights. I’m tempted to avoid buses, due to consistency and traffic congestion, but if there is a particularly compelling option you could reccomend that includes them, I would be willing to try it.

Thanks for your help, my friends
