Long been wondering what the deal is with this place because I’m relatively positive they don’t make pizza these days.
If you don’t know what I’m talking about, it’s connected to The Bushwick Diner on Wyckoff/Linden with its own side door & window plus an awning that uses the exact same font as the diner (but it says “Bushwick Pizza.”
Now the diner doesn’t have pizza on the menu and there’s no pizza oven inside, so they aren’t making pizza these days…. but did they ever?! And if so, was it any good?!
Maybe I’ve been watching too many YouTube videos about Carmine Galante’s murder in Bushwick decades ago, but this place seems sketchy enough that I could see it being just a front (former if not current).
