Got spat in the face by a random jogger

This happened today morning at the intersection of Wyckoff Ave and Hancock St. My girlfriend was walking alone and this jogger just ran up to her and spat in her face. It was a completely random assault. The guy took off and she wasn’t able to get a good look at him. He was probably white or hispanic, was wearing a grey hoodie, long pants and had a buzzcut black hair.

We called 911, and reported this incident, but heard nothing from the police yet. Could be a hate crime too, because my girlfriend is Asian. Not sure what else we can do.
