I’ve told no one about it except you all so far. The current bid is 1 penny even though it’s a real Brontosaurus Hip end from the Morris formation in Wyoming lol! It is not a cast. It is not a reproduction. It is the real deal and a living piece of history. Given as a gift to Ryder Bennett the Poet and writer to German director Albert Heine sometime around the 1880s. Found and purchased at the Wyckoff Bennett house in Brooklyn NY. It was legally purchased from the Monte family but the auction houses won’t take it as they suspect it is stolen. That’s what Sotheby’s and a few others said at any rate. I’ll have more rocks and fossils for your eyes only soon. (Although I’m going to be posting this one on social media and the whats this fossil sub) Want to clarify that while I’m making pennies on the dollar for all these specimens it is all in gratitude for making me feel so welcome.
