Tldr: I’m more of a research kinda person who reads books and does backtesting and research. Live trades are making me anxious and it’s overwhelming. Any suggestions?
I’ve learnt everything there is to technical analysis. I’ve learnt SR, patterns, levels, wyckoff laws, schematics, VSA, volume profile, orderflow trading, bookmap trading, supply demand – both regular and SMC(vertex, ment fx, phantom) and many more. After a point, I have found the similarities in all these different styles and why all of them work. Then I worked on smallest SL possible too.
I also have a friend who’s consistently profitable and discusses with me post market. I have tools like NT, datafeed etc. I see market with different charts. I have written setups. If I read a book, I can now almost say what the author knows and what he doesn’t know. If I teach someone post market, they’d not even have an iota of doubt. I am great at post market analysis.
But live market, It’s a different mental game I’m not able to handle. I have smallest SL setups but I don’t even press the buttons. It’s been 6months and I’ve hardly any trades. I’m supposed to day trade for a living. I’m not able to algorithmize my system. And my personal life is falling apart. Anyone been here? Any advice you offer. I’m not interested in teaching, so I’m thinking if I should become a trading strategy consultant to small companies. I’m confused. Any help is appreciated.
