Dumb question.. but is Ridgewood Brooklyn or Queens?

I’ve been saying Queens but when I explain to people where I live in relation to the myrtle-wyckoff station & bushwick they’re like oh, so Brooklyn? And my extended family grew up in Brooklyn near Canarsie/Rockaway areas and they call it Brooklyn, so I’m just curious if I’ve had it wrong
