What’s the deal with the same people hanging around outside Myrtle–Wyckoff every day?

I’ve noticed the same group of people standing around outside the Myrtle–Wyckoff Avenues station almost every day, often for hours at a time. They don’t seem to be waiting for anyone or heading into the station.

Has anyone else noticed this? Are they vendors, outreach workers, transit-related, or just regular neighborhood hangouts? Genuinely curious if there’s a known reason they’re always there. The station is a major transit hub on the Brooklyn/Queens border, so maybe it’s more common than I realize.
