I built this thing called leaf. It’s a phone number that you can text (1-360-800-2048), which provides a set of tools for finding businesses, getting directions, subway arrivals, Citibike locations, checking Wikipedia, and some other fun stuff. My hope is that leaf can be like a multitool for dumbphone users to interact with the broader digital world in a private, minimalist, and less distracting way. It’s also just an alternative medium for interaction, which is cool. Let me know what you think.
