Room with private bath for 6/1

Reposting because I have pictures now! And adding more details to find the right fit 🙂

The room is 1550 a month. It has a private en suite full bath, and faces the backyard so it’s quiet and there’s a fire escape. The room has a closet and there are also two large storage closets in the living room for additional storage. There is a washer, dryer and dishwasher in unit, a furnished living area (though we could discuss adding or rearranging furniture), and one roommate (me!). It’s a railroad apartment with rooms on opposite sides so there is maximum privacy. The entire apartment is electric, so there is just an electric bill on a Wi-Fi bill. The landlord is very responsive and chill and it’s a rent stabilized lease. It would be a one month lease assignment from June to July and then you will re-sign the new lease with me. I believe it’s only going up about $40. The apartment is an 11 minute walk from Myrtle Wyckoff and four minute walk from the forest Avenue M train. Cross streets are Woodward and Cornelia.

About me, I am 30 yrs old, lesbian, just graduated from law school and studying for the bar. I have lived in this apartment for almost 2 years. I go out a lot and I’m very social, and I work as a clerk in a law office in downtown bk. I cook most of my meals at home. But I do work outside of the apartment so I am in and out all week. my only hard and fast rule is no smoking weed inside the apartment common spaces. I’m very busy so I do a deep clean every week and just tidy up as the week goes on, but I’m not like the most anal about cleaning aside from the litter box and the kitchen floors.

There are two cats that live here and it’s important that whoever takes the room is a cat person and not allergic because my cats are very friendly and they will go everywhere if you don’t keep your door closed lol.

In an ideal world I would love to live with another queer person who works a hybrid schedule, doesn’t eat meat and is down to feed my cats when I travel but if you don’t check all those boxes that’s totally fine. No couples and no dogs.

If this still sounds of interest to you, let me know and we can set up a viewing later this week. Pics are of the current setup with a queen bed, the way the last tenants had it set up, and some photos of the common area.
