Hi! I’m looking for a roommate to share my apartment with me and my two rescue dogs (12 years old and 6 years old- affectionately referred to ask the Italians).
The apartment is a renovated 3-bedroom with exposed brick and hardwood floors. There’s one full bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and one of the bedrooms is set up as a shared TV/lounge space. We also have an in-unit washer/ dryer combo.
Location wise, it’s about a 7-minute walk (2 blocks) to the Myrtle–Wyckoff L & M trains.
About me: I grew up in Michigan, but have been in NYC for nearly 10 years. I’ve lived in this apartment for four years. I’m 35 and work full time remote in nonprofit. I’m into music, arts/crafts, dancing, documentaries, reading, and making the apartment feel cozy and lived-in. I’m hoping to find someone who enjoys a creative, relaxed, eclectic home. LGBTQIA+ and 420 friendly. Open to someone who has a pet if it’s the right fit.
The room:
• $1,700/month all in
• Available January 15 – end of February, with the option to renew for March 1st at the same rate
• Fully furnished (queen bed, bookshelf, designated AC, desk + chair, and shared spaces – kitchen, tv room, living room)
• Dedicated closet + extra storage in a hall “mom’s attic” right outside the room
• Heat, gas, electric, AC, and internet all included
This would be a great fit for someone who is laid back and new to the city or moving with minimal stuff.
