Just ordered a Korg Minilouge XD from a local music shop…did I make a mistake? (Explained in description.)

This might be a stupid question, but I’m a beginner with analog synthesis soooo to start out, the only other synth that I’ve ever owned was a stylophone Gen X1, it was a good beginner synth, but I wanted to something a little bit more detailed with a little more freedom. I decided to go with the Korg minilouge XD as my first choice, mainly because it was the main instrument used alongside Serum for the Boneworks soundtrack by Michael Wyckoff (great soundtrack and even greater artist I will say.) I decided to go with a minilouge XD inverted edition more specifically, mainly because it was almost $150 cheaper than the standardedition when I ordered it at my local music store…and that got me thinking …did I miss something when doing my research about the synth that makes the limited edition one worse than the standard or is it cheaper because of the cosmetic appearance? Could someone explain this to me?
