I’ve lived here for 4 years and I really like it. I always feel safe in this area. It’s close to trains: 8 minutes to J at Kosciusko or Gates, 7 minutes to Knickerbocker M, 17 minutes to L at Myrtle Wyckoff (or take the M one stop). The J runs express at rush hour from these stops! Close to coffee shops, bars, restaurants, thrift stores, concert venues. Foodtown supermarket is a 5-minute walk. All the furniture you see in the living room and balcony is staying! The superintendent is responsive.
Looking for a female roommate to sign a lease for at least 1 year. I’m sad to see my current roommate go but she’s ready for a 1BR. No couples/pets. Ideally, you’re 28 to 42 years old. If we vibe, I would love to have the kind of roommate relationship where once in a while we can sit on the couch and chat or watch a movie! If it seems like a match, I will ask for one reference from a past/current roommate (phone number and email).
I’m a 32-year-old native New Yorker who works remotely full time as a copy editor in publishing. I’m a respectful, responsible, and clean roommate.
I like to both chill in my room and go out and have adventures and take walks. My hobbies include reading, cross stitch, museums, thrifting, and finding hidden gems in NYC. Oh, and I also pick up trash as a hobby, so the street that I live on will always be very clean! Though I work remotely, I’m frequently working outside the house at a cute cafe or library. I always pull my weight with cleaning and buying toilet paper/dishwasher detergent, etc. Currently, I cook at least 3 meals a week at home. If I’m watching tv, listening to music, or having friends over, I try to keep a respectful volume and hope that you do the same. Looking forward to meeting you!
