Security Protocols at Key Foods is so lame.

Am I the only person who’s started to actively go to other grocery stores because of the “check your bag” situation at Key Foods? I bring my bag to the store because I want to use the bag as my grocery bag. So having to check it, shop, and then run, wait in line, and claim it while I’m being checked out is so lame. I’ve started shopping at Associated and the new market on Wyckoff just to not deal with it. Why don’t they just have security actively patrolling the store if they’re worried? Does checking bags actually work to keep folks from stealing?
