So I’ve started selling CSP and basically wheeling around 7-8 months ago.
I’ve been trading stocks for 17 years amateurly but only started diving deeper inside the rabbit hole in the last year. So I know my way around the stocks market, but not professionally.
As I wanted to get a better understanding of options, I took a class with an instructor who teaches options trading, and in the 4th class we’ve already covered the VIX index, IV percentile % per period, and now we are starting to learn about Wyckoff theory.
The more I learn the more I realize how vast the knowledge base is. So far, I’ve been selling puts on stocks I like and think are likely to rise, but want to profit of even if not, but at least not falling.
Now this guy talks about reading the macro trends in the market, awaiting opportunities for IV fluctuations and read the whole graph to know when to maneuver.
Do you guys really look at the market so comprehensively?
