Can someone help me choose between the two preliminary programs? The goal is to match categorical GS in next cycle:
1. UTSW
2. Montefiore
UTSW takes 1-3 categorical residents out of 11 preliminary each year, but the interview was great and the program apparently matches all their prelims.
Montefiore’s interview was equally good and there is no number to how many of their prelims are taken into categorical for the next cycle, but they have a similar number of preliminary and categorical residents.
Also, if they are good enough, then can I be placing the following categorical surgery programs ahead of the aforementioned programs:
1. Wyckoff Heights Medical Center
2. Bronxcare Health System
